SEO: Any Suggestions/Advice?

Today, I was fired from my recent job. During the termination meeting- I was told I am a very good at completing white hat SEO. I made some very good points last night in regards to a clients website. The website uses in proper Title Tags and has duplicate content. This morning I received an email. I was told to use a cloaking software for a client who is presented by this company I was just fired from. I refused to do so cause it against good SEO standards. I said, however, I will do it if you agree to sign paper work that says I will not be held responsible. Well that sealed the deal for me in being fired.

Honesty does not work in today’s word it seems. I cared about the company, employees and the clients in the long term of things. I am located in CA.

Any suggestions for me? I am not happy right now.

Work for yourself and help companies at a reasonable price or good SEO skills are great for bartering services as a possibility. Become an affiliate of http://www.prmassacre.net/ and become a gillionaire lol j/kf

Honestly it sounds like you were in the right and further more did whats right which is commendable.

Never bow down, and always worry about what you do and not others, as long as you know you did your best…you can never fault yourself for jack@sses lol

What is the best source for webmaster education and search engine optimization education that is affordable?

I have a new website at

http://www.specialhomeproducts.com

Check it out! I have many new home decor and office decor products, as well as great gift ideas for every special occasion….just need ideas as to how to market this without it costing an arm and a leg….am working on a limited budget. The idea is to MAKE money with it, NOT SPEND every dime I have just to get it marketed and ranked on the search engines. If anyone out there has resources for excellent internet marketing, that is reputable, NOT SCAMS, and is easy to understand for the beginner, let me know! I know amazon.com has several books you can get, such as "search engine optimization for dummies", or "keywords for dummies"…may have to go with that for now, to save on my expenses…already put TOO much into this project to give up on it….getting several hits a day to the site, but still no significant sales….any help I can get out there would be greatly appreciated. debs3

You can do it for free no problem but it will require a little time on your part.

First you need to get two books from the library:

Designing with Web Standards http://www.zeldman.com/dwws/

Don’t make me think http://www.sensible.com/buythebook.html

Reading and understanding these two books alone will put you ahead of 99.9% of webdesigners.

Then you need to read a free, reliable and up to date SEO tutorial. There are only two of these on the web that are considered worth reading.

That’s it! Read, learn and implement.

Good luck!

a. Application form for Admission
b. Two recommendation forms
c. An Unofficial Transcript of college grades covering up to the last completed semester and a copy of grades of the current semester (may submit a photocopy of registration card and class cards). Please bring original copies for verification.

Note: Do not apply for Honorable Dismissal until decisions on applications have been released.

INCOMPLETE APPLICATION FORMS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

Note: A small number of transfer students is accepted into the Loyola Schools. If accepted, there is no guarantee as to the number of courses that will be validated from the previous school. Usually only one-third of the courses taken in the previous school are credited at the Ateneo. These subjects are credited upon passing the validation tests given by the departments concerned. Also, because of the structure of the Ateneo curriculum, transferees become “irregular” students. (Transferees who finish two years in another college generally need at least three more years at the Ateneo to finish their degree).

II. DOWNLOADABLE APPLICATION FORMS

The application form for FOREIGN TRANSFER APPLICANTS for SY 2008-2009 is available for download
