How To Market My Business Online

My name is Josh and I have had my website dominate the first page of Google for over a year now. And here are some tips on what you can do to get started.

Have you ever wanted to know how to drive traffic to your websites? Get on the first page of Google for the service that you are offering?

You may be reading this article because you are curious about how to bring people to your website for a minimal cost. There are many ways that you can leverage the internet as a powerful tool in helping you succeed at promoting your business or product.

The number one things that helps your website rank well in the eyes of Google is it’s number of back-links that it’s receiving from other site. These are other web-sites on the internet that are pointing to your web-site by a link. It’s kind of like a popularity contest. Speaking of, just imagine you had somebody recommend your services. But then what if you had somebody of great importance and influence recommend your services or in this case let’s say your website? The difference in the recommendation or "Back-link" to your website can affect the way Google favors your web-site. Also, it really helps if this recommendation is of similar subject or service.

So your question may be, "How do I get these backlinks and how much does it cost?" Well, there are many free ways that you can get powerful back-links to your website by using social sites such as Myspace and Facebook etc… However, just getting these few back-links probably wont make too much of a difference in the eyes of Google. What you are looking for are many quality related back-links that have a high PR rank from Google. This will help yhou boost your rankings in not only Google, but in other search engines too.

While back-links are probably one of the most important areas you need to think about in targeting your position in Google, there are hundreds of other very important factors to consider to get to the first page. Article, Video, Directory and RSS Feed Submission’s, RSS Mashing and looping, and clickable video technology are just a few.

Learning how to use these technologies can be very time consuming but the reward is worth it every time. The important thing is to remember that back-linking strategies take time and patience but the reward is worth it every time. No matter what you are selling, there is a way to be successful online and not only survive in this economy but thrive in this crisis.

Oh, I almost forgot. If you feel like you just don’t have the time to figure all of this SEO (Search Engine Optimization) stuff out, then outsourcing is for you.

The company that I decided to use after getting frustrated with the amount of time I was putting into this internet marketing hunt is called GVM or also known as Gorilla Viral Marketing. Their prices were the absolute best I could find on the internet for the services that they provide. I have a keyword phrase right now that when you type it in it has over 1.6 million results competing against it and I my website is on the very first page of Google. Under the same keyword phrase with Yahoo, with 1.3 millions results…I’m on the first page! This has brought a huge amount of traffic to my website and a whole lot of sales!

I’m pretty sure that they only accept 2-3 clients per month but it’s worth giving them a look to see what they offer.

Just remember, it is possible to get on the first page of Google even with millions of competitors! You just have to have the patience and determination to want it bad enough to learn the dynamics of how the algorythyms work.

whats the benefit of contracting back in to serps?

SERPS (State Earning Related Pension Scheme) has been replaced by the State Second Pension (S2P). People who are employed and earning above a certain level and paying National Insurance contributions qualify for S2P.

Under contracting out the government pays some of your NI contributions and income tax relief into a pension of your choice. You then invest this money to provide benefits at retirement.

The benefits of contracting out are that the money is invested where and with the pension provider of your choice so you have control over the amount of investment risk there is. Once the money is in your pension it cannot be taken back from you so if there are reduction in government pension provision in the future you could be better off. At retirement you have the additional option of taking 25% of your fund value as a lump sum tax free. If you die before retirement, yur fund will be used to buy a pension for your spouse or partner. If you do not have a partner, the fund will form part of your estate.

Contracting back into S2P is often recommended as people get closer to retirement but is dependent on individual circumstances. You may receive more or less pension by being contracted in or out. When you retire your S2P will be paid at the same time as your basic state pension. The amount you receive will not be dependent on your health and life expectancy as it would be if you were contracted out. If contracted in and you die before retirement and do not have a spouse any S2P benefits are lost. You are also not able to take 25% of the fund as a tax free cash lump sum when contracted in.

Hope this helps

Why doesn’t Google pick up all incoming/inbound links, like other search engines do?

I was wondering why Google doesn’t pick up/recognize all incoming/inbound links to another Website, as other search engines like Yahoo and MSN, do? This is a question about link popularity building as part of an SEO strategy.

It does pick them up but chooses not to display them all with the link: command, for commercial reasons. Basically the link: command in Google shows only a sample of the links it knows about and is therefore completely useless.

The most reliable is Yahoo Search with the command linkdomain:yourdomain.com -site:yourdomain.com

What is Black Hat SEO?

I’m new in SEO environment, and I want to be successful with it….please gave me also the do’s and dont’s of this techniques…thanks

Basically it is the practice of hoodwinking the search engines into pushing your website higher in the rankings here are many methods of accomplishing the end result (higher rankings), but it should be understood that you are potentially setting yourself up for the exact opposite (lower rankings and/or removal from the search engine index).you’d see websites with a given keyword or two or three repeated over and over again on a given page (sometimes hundreds of times) in order to make the engine believe that this page was really that important. You’d see blocks of text either at the top of the pages or the very bottom and usually the text would be the same color as the background of the page so that you couldn’t read the text unless you highlighted it. What’s funnier is that you can still find websites like this today. Funnier yet, some of these websites REMAIN EFFECTIVE in their tactics, no matter how obvious they are.if they can cheat the system and win, good for them. They also know they can just as easily lose the fight. It’s not the only form of gambling in this world.
