   Black hat seo is using tactics known to be considered spam or deceit to the search engines, there are many tactics used but they typically turnout to be short lived and only temporarily beneficial to you then your site gets banned from the search engines.

   For the latter you can use google and do a search link:http://thedomainyouaresearching.com this should reveal links inboubd to that particular site.
