Black Hat Techniques – Search engine optimization

Keyword stuffing: Packing long lists of keywords and nothing
else onto your site will get you banned eventually. Don’t do it.
There is a right way to put keywords and phrases on your site.

Invisible text: This is putting lists of keywords in white text
on a white background in hopes of attracting more spiders. It’s
considered unethical, and you shouldn’t do it.

Doorway Pages: A doorway page is basically a “fake” page that
the user will never see.

It is purely for search engine spiders, and attempts to trick
them into indexing the site higher. These should be avoided at
all costs. Black Hat SEO is tempting; after all, these tricks
actually do work, temporarily. They do end up getting sites
higher search rankings; that is, until these same sites get
banned for using unethical practices. It’s just not worth the
risk. Use efficient search engine optimization techniques to get
your site ranked higher, and stay away from anything that even
looks like Black Hat SEO.

How To Fine Tune Your Organic Seo Techniques

Organic search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing your website or page so that you will become one of the top results in a search engine query. Increased link popularity results in higher Search Engine rankings for your chosen search items so this is one of the most effective methods for organic SEO.

The Advantages of Organic SEO

Many people look down on organic Search Engine Optimization, preferring to use other techniques (such as pay-per-click search engine advertising) that – to their minds – result in higher page rankings in the minimum amount of time. What they don’t realize is that, while this technique does result in higher page ranks, they get smaller profit margins in return because of the ‘cash up front’ that they have to forego.

Organic SEO Secret

The ‘secret’ to organic SEO is in its “natural” approach to increasing inbound links to your website – which means getting visitors to your website, and enticing them to link to your page. In a sense, organic SEO is a two-step process: getting people interested enough in your website to pay a visit; and providing sufficiently interesting content to persuade them to link to your site.

Organic SEO also involves finding the right keyword to optimize for. If you are not sure what your key phrases are, there are online tools available to help you. These tools are useful in keyword research which will help you refine your organic SEO approach.

Get Indexed

Organic SEO begins with getting indexed by the search engines. If you are not in a search engine’s index, you will not be included in search engines results pages. Thus, you have to submit your site to search engines.

Search engine submission can be done through a lot of ways. You can do it through the most obvious way; that is, by submitting your site URL to Google, Yahoo and other search engines you wish to be part of.

Another popular way of getting indexed is by submitting your site to open directories such as DMOZ. This particular open directory is used by Google, so if you get your site listed there, the Googlebot will certainly find you.

In line with directory submission, links from important sites can get you indexed quickly. If you want fast results, buy a one-way link from an important site (not a link farm, mind you) so that Googlebot or any other search engine spider can follow that link to your site and in consequence get your site indexed. In the same way, you can also try site submission services.

Be an Active Netizen

You can also consider taking proactive approaches to optimizing your website. Think about getting into offline optimization strategies such as participating in online forums or blogs, submitting articles, writing press releases and directory submissions, all of which will give you opportunities to ‘seed’ links pointing back to your website.

One excellent approach is to start a blog or two about your key phrase, and then link these blogs to your website. Make sure, however, that you continually add fresh content to both your blogs and your site. There is nothing more frustrating for visitors than finding old, outdated content. Providing fresh and interesting content on a regular basis will encourage more people to visit your site.

Organic SEO: It’s Best When It’s Natural

Organic Search Engine Optimization’s involves more sweat than cash; as such, your profit margins are larger than the other techniques. More importantly, you don’t have to worry about spamming search engines, or engage in ‘black hat’ strategies that risk your getting banned or having your listings dropped. It may entail a little pain, but the long term benefits add up to a major amount of gain.

So optimize your website the natural way – and watch your page ranking grow. In due time, you will feel the satisfaction of having a top-ranked page.

Strategies of Internet Marketing

In an environment where so much commerce is taking place online, any company who wants to achieve their full potential must have a solid Internet marketing strategy in place. Unfortunately, even with the online world such an integral part of doing business these days, many companies don’t completely develop their strategies.

Even with all the information available online about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay per Click (PPC) advertising, and all other forms of Internet marketing, many companies are unaware of the best procedures to get to the top of the search engines. Working in the SEO industry I am often surprised (though I suppose I shouldn’t be) at how many misconceptions are still so prevalent.

For example, many companies still believe a simple website is enough. If you build it they will come. And then they seem surprised when no one visits the site. For more details go to www.internet-marketing-word.com Then there are the companies who actually still believe that old Black Hat SEO techniques are valid Internet marketing strategies. These are techniques that have long ago been shunned by search engines, such as keyword stuffing or automated generation of countless doorway pages.

Why do they do this? Because somewhere along the line of marketers someone heard that someone else had a lot of success doing this. Pretty vague, right? This is, of course, a bad way to start developing Internet marketing strategies.

If you are going to create a valuable marketing plan you must start with a strong knowledge base. This is probably the main motivation for many companies to outsource their SEO campaign. The just don’t feel as though they can conquer the learning curve witching a manageable time frame.

But if you are going to do it in-house, this is where you need to start. Gain an understanding of what works and, more importantly, why it works. The same goes for techniques that are ethically questionable. Find out what makes them Black Hat SEO and why all the search engines frown on them. Then you’ll be able to actively apply your knowledge as you attempt new Internet marketing strategies.

The next step in developing a strong marketing plan is evaluation. Take a moment and really evaluate what you have on your site. It has to be a “friendly” site, and it has to be friendly in at least two aspects. First, you must be visitor friendly. This means readable content, intuitive navigation, and strong information architecture.

Second, you must also be friendly to the search engines. This means readable content, intuitive navigation, and strong information architecture.

Sound similar? There’s a reason for that. For more details go to wwwauto-hits-machine.com They are. But don’t be completely fooled. Search engines and customers may be looking at the same thing, but the way to impress them is subtly different. Knowing these differences will help you accomplish this and be friendly to both at the same time.

Next, it’s time to reach out to other areas of the Internet and draw attention to your site. I’m not talking about customers yet. I’m talking about other websites. You need links from them in order to build high rankings. These rankings will be required before customers can find you, so you must seek out “votes” from other sites first. There are a number of ways to accomplish this, and a great deal of SEO revolves around this task. This could include social marketing, viral marketing, article marketing, bloggin, and any other ethical method to gain one-way, quality links.

Finally, and this almost brings us full circle, a marketing strategy requires understanding. It means you must understand that despite the speed in which eCommerce moves, Internet marketing does not have overnight results. It takes time. Time to gather links and time to build trust with customers and with search engines.

Developing an Internet marketing strategy, then, requires knowledge, evaluation, outreach, and understanding. When you can accomplish this you can begin to secure your online presence.Andy Elias on is a writer at Main10, Inc, a Utah Internet marketing company.
