Online business ideas?

I would like to start an online company. My idea is a website that teaches acting lessons through videos, articles, and tutorials. It would be membership site where people pay monthly to access.
Or I would start a company that buys undervalued websites, fixes them up by implementing marketing strategies, adding revenue generators, and imputing some seo tactics. The company would then sell the website for profit. Is this even considered a "company". Could there be a CEO?

You can have both ideas come to live, just make sure you start them one after the other.
For the 1st business idea, you will need to register a domain name, choose a web hosting company, then build a website, a membership web site, integrate it with e-commerce and of course – add a forum.
Then, market online.

Here are suggestions for that.

1. Choose a domain name and register it. I use www.domain.con but you can use other domain registrars as well.

2. Choose a web hosting company: I can suggest www.inmotionhosting.com. I’m very happy with them

3. Create your web site. All web hosts will offer you to build your website on their templates or a free domain name for 1 year. Just, don’t accept. The templates – you must pay monthly fee to keep using them till the rest of your life … or your brand will be hurt. The free domain name is actually very pricey A domain name is less than $11 to buy. But if you get it for free the 1st year … then you can end up paying from $35 to $105 per year each year after that. I’ve been there and I know how much it hurts to loose a domain you spent days to name.

4. To build your wsebsite I suggest wordpress. It’s very SEO friendly and you have lots of control on what goes in and what goes out. Also, you can get a very nice premium theme: like Organic Themes http://tinyurl.com/organicthemes and have it customized to your taste.

5. Add the membership site and the e-commerce
There are 2 tools that are really cutting edge and inexpensive.

1st one is how to build a membership site with a few clicks: it’s called Wishlist plug-in – http://bit.ly/9Ygm9q. Otherwise – it could cost you couple of thousands and that’s unnecessarily expensive.

2nd one is: your shopping card + email marketing + tracking software. It’s not inexpensive, but it’s really good and it’s totally worth the money: 1shopping card – http://www.1shoppingcart.com

6. When it comes to marketing online – it’s really good to go to the guys who are setting the trends in online marketing. Here’s Don’s training about how to profit from your online marketing efforts: http://bit.ly/biYDEC
I believe his training videos can be downloaded for a few more days.

7. And of course, I can recommend you to get a personal coach. The 1s 4 years in business 95% of businesses don’t make it. So, with a coach – you’ll make sure to set up your business, create structures, automate it, have the strategy and the plan, and go for the profit and growth.

You can go here: www.aheartsdesires.com and send an email: sue@aheartsdesires.com
OR you can visit twitter : http://twitter.com/pros_lifecoach

Your second idea is a great business! Just bare in mind that those websites will not bring you immediate profit.
