i only have blogs and affiliate websites
what does this effect? page ranking SERPS
direct linking? would it not be a good idea to link any of my website (would my sites be veiwed as spam?)

No, most people do that. Take a look at: http://bluehost-service.atspace.com . As an experienced webmaster I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements.
