Can someone please tell me what search engine optimization is!?

I’ve been searching all day, and I’ve been reading that your blog can be successful or fall falt on it’s face based on what you know of search engine optimization; SEO. I know what it is (sort of) but I don’t know how to do it, I don’t even know if there IS a "how." So I’d be grateful if someone told me what SEO is, and how to use it. Thanks.
What do you mean tags? You mean like the links on my site (well, in my case a blog) that describe my posts and stuff?

SEO

is the optimzation of your website content, html and links to your website in order to enhance your search engine listings as well as your buyer’s experience.

There is a how. Have a look at: http://www.getintogooglequick.com/seo_basics.htm

Write Google AdWord Ads that Get Results

Have you been searching for a way to improve your AdWords ad copy? If so, then what we have for you today are three proven tips to increase your PPC ad conversions.

Writing an AdWords ad is all about reaching out to your target market in the most specific manner. You will experience disappointing results if your ads use general language written in a general way. You should never talk in general terms in an ad because the ad needs to focus on one item, only. It is when people who are searching see your ad, and they immediately know what it’s all about. The meaning in your ad directly relates to what ever it is you’re selling. After you perform solid keyword research, you must arrange them logically into ad groups which are related groups. Google will let you know if your ad groups are not quite right because you’ll see it in your quality score. Doing so will help your qualtiy score, and that is first hurdle you have to overcome with any campaign.

A call to action is an integral part of all good copy, and that includes PPC ad copy. When in doubt, test; and that is what you should do with your ads because some marketers respond differently than others. It just makes logical sense to have one since people that will be seeing your ad won’t know what they need to do once they click on the ad. Your ad will become more tight and focused with a call to action. Again, it really depends on your particular market, so test different kinds of call to action statements. You will just be providing clear directions for the reader, and most of them will appreciate that even if they don’t know it.

AdWords ads can be made much more powerful with the use of story. We’ll explain how you do this because we know you’re scratching your head. You’ll be simply saying something that grabs their hearts and causes them to have sympathy or empathy. This will help you connect with them on a higher level and let you achieve what you want. There are many other things you can do to boost your AdWords ads conversion rates.

The Hats of the SEO World: What Hat Does Your Web Promotion Company Wear?

Determining which hat a web promotion company wears is a paramount concern for most web developers who wish to have their sites optimized. This decision is of great concern because the reputation of a website is contingent upon the kind of SEO work it receives.

In the search engine optimization world, there are three groups that fight for dominance: the black hats, white hats, and the grey hats. These three camps are all after the same thing—topping the search engine rankings for their target sites. What sets them apart would be the means they are willing to go in order to achieve their end.

Black Hat

As the term implies, black hat SEO’s will go the distance to make the page rank and engage in aggressive campaigns even at the expense of violating search engine rules and regulations and misleading spiders into crawling the link they are promoting. In so doing, the client’s site is endangered of suffering the eternal verdict of being banned from search engines. It can then be concluded that this type of SEO work is unquestionably threading along the lines of being unethical.

White Hat

They are dubbed as the good guys of the SEO world. Unlike black hats that would run the extra mile to spamdexing, this type of SEO would not dare violate search engine regulations. Instead of spamming like crazy, these white hats would orchestrate a well-planned and strategic manipulation of search engine results. This can be done through content and article submission, blog farming and, and forum posting. Smart web promotion companies opt to wear this hat.

Gray Hats

If black hats are the evil ones, and white hats are the good ones, gray hats would be in the middle of the spectrum. Gray Hat SEO pendulum swings both ways. Unlike white hats that employ planning and smartly execute optimization campaigns, gray hats tend to go the crooked path of duplicating content and artificial linking schemes. Moreover, they don’t go as sneaky as the black hats are. The target link would only be devalued and not banned when gray hat techniques are employed.

A web promotion company’s decision on what SEO hat to wear is extremely important. This is most especially important for web developers to know since it is their sites that would be affected by such decision. It is advisable to know the optimization strategies that would yield great results and make the site fly in the search engine results list without jeopardizing its reputation.

what advantages does SEM have over the TEM?

what advantages does SEM have over the TEM.

and what advantages does TEM have over the SEM

if u dont know what im talking obout im reffering to cells.

please answer! easy points!

A SEM (scanning electron microscope) images using the electrons reflected from a specimen. A TEM (transmission electron microscope) images using the electrons that pass through it.

The image from an SEM thus looks somewhat like a normal photo (we’re used to imaging using the light reflected from objects). However, a TEM image takes a bit more interpretation as we’re not used to seeing images of light that’s passed through things – think of silhouettes or slide projectors…

The TEM transmits electrons through a sample that has been cut so that it is only a few molecules thin. Indeed, the sample is so thin that the electrons have enough energy to pass right through some regions of the sample. In other regions, where metals that were added to the sample have bound to sample molecules, the electrons either do not pass through as easily, or are restricted from passing through altogether. The different behaviors of the electrons are detected on special film that is positioned on the opposite side of the sample from the electron source.

Because TEM uses slices of a sample, it reveals internal details of a sample. In SEM, the electrons do not penetrate the sample. Rather, the sample is coated with gold, which causes the electrons to bounce off of the surface of the sample. The electron beam is scanned in a back and forth motion parallel to the sample surface. A detector captures the electrons that have bounced off the surface, and the pattern of deflection is used to assemble a three dimensional image of the sample surface.
